BRIEF ABOUT DENTISTRY FACULTY AT KubSMU
Faculty of Dentistry at KubSMU initiated its first batch with about 56 people and in 1968; the faculty had witnessed its first graduation of dentists of Kuban Medical Institute. Over many years, the primary theme of the complex scientific faculty research was mainly diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of inflammatory processes of the maxillofacial area.
Faculty’s departments constitute 6 Doctors and 46 Candidates of Sciences in the staff, who can solve most complex tasks. To-date, the Faculty has prepared & issues more than 4,500 dentists. Since 2000, the Department is enacting a new generation of educational standard plan that provides the detailed study of propaedeutic & Clinical dentistry.
Faculty relies on the main objective of providing quality education with an approach of clinical thinking. Department of Orthopedic Dentistry conducts Phantom classes for students created by Propaedeutics & Prevention of dental diseases for independent work. The Faculty of Dentistry pays more attention towards the practical training of its students. The faculty also acquires a Dental clinic for the training & teaching of the students.
